I love making these boots but the process is a longer one so they don’t find their way to my bench but maybe once a year. So if you love them too, now is your chance.
They all started because I LOVE boots. I live in boots and only boots. You’d be hard pressed to catch me in any other footwear!
I carved a boot shape in wax, melted (and recycled) some silver, and cast them in sand. It’s a fickle craft, not always working out like you hope but you try again and when it works out, it’s pretty dang cool.
These are chunky, hand stamped with arrows and finished with a rich patina and soft polish.
They measure 1/2” wide, are 3/4” tall, including the bail and with the handmade sterling ear wires the total drop is 1 3/4”. Weight per earring is 5.1 grams…not heavy but not feather weight either.
