Have boots, will travel…
I am a “if I can’t wear my boots, I ain’t goin” kinda girl and these boots came about years ago because of that sentiment. I know I’m not the only one!
I call these charms and they are indeed charming but they are not really charms, they are substantial enough to be called pendants. The Flower is 10.4 grams, the Cross is 10.8 grams, the Vine is 5 grams, the Star is 5.9 grams and they all have a big enough presence to be worn on their own.
I carved boot shapes in wax, melted down silver and cast them in sand. The process takes a bit more effort and getting them from the ugly stage to the pretty stage takes time. I do leave them slightly ‘worn’….like your favorite pair of boots that fit just right.
They measure 11/16” wide and 7/8” tall (flower), 5/8” wide and 13/16” tall (cross), 1/2” wide and 13/16” tall (star), 1/2” wide and 7/8” tall (vine), including the bail and come with a jump ring attached to accommodate your favorite chain.
