Always Necklace

Always…

When I saw this Rhodochrosite stone again, I instantly pulled it from my inventory drawer, along with some sister stones for ‘matching’ earrings and a cuff. This is finally their time. I love it when it happens like that.

There is just something about this stone, maybe is the teardrop shape, the layers of color, the size….it just called to me and said I am always with you. It feels like grief somehow…in the best possible way, if that makes sense.

I made a home for the stone in fine and sterling, hand stamping the reminder on the back, along with a heart.

The feather is thick sterling silver, engraved by hand and can be worn alongside the pendant or either one of these can be worn alone.

The pendant measures 7/8” wide, is 2 1/8” tall, including the bail and the feather is 3/8” wide and 1 1/2” tall. Both are finished with a rich patina and soft polish. They come on a really nice 18” sterling silver box chain which has been oxidized and polished.
