I just stared and stared into this stone when I got it…and of course knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. It had to wait until sunflower season but that time is now and it’s wonderful to see my vision come to life.
It is a Turkish Moss Agate and imagine if you zoomed in on a sunflower…this is what I think you’d see. I made a home for the chunky stone in fine and sterling silver, adding plenty of hand stamped sunflower petals. it’s finished with a rich patina and soft polish to make all those details sing.
The setting measures 1 5/8” and is attached to some super soft gorgeous chocolate brown leather that is 1 1/2” wide. A subtle hand stamped border runs along the the edges and the cuff has three sizing options for your comfort at 6 3/4”, 7 1/4” and 7 3/4”. For example my nearly 7” wrist fits the 7 1/4” perfectly…not too tight, not too loose.
