The Sunshiny Blues Choker
Love them blues…
A handful of blue stones waited to be loved on and I sat with them awhile…both before I designed and made this necklace, and after, when it was finished and looking so pretty on my bench.
These kind of blues don’t come around too often. They are full of light, good energy and look so lovely set in silver, soaking up the sun.
I made a home for the 5 Kingman Turquoise stones in fine and sterling silver, surrounding them with hand stamped details and placing them close together in a choker style necklace.
I added more turquoise to the chain, wrapping small beads in silver and placing them along the chain on both sides.
Even with all the stones and silver, it still feels like a dainty necklace, meant to be worn at the base of your neck, snuggly nestled on your collarbone or above it.
It measures 3/8” wide on the center setting (biggest stone), the length of turquoise stones together is nearly 5” long (not including beads), and the entire necklace measures 15.5”.
Enjoy…and thanks so very much for being here at DBG.
