Take me to the river…
This design is hands down of my favorite ones to create! I live close to the river that stole my heart years ago and am lucky enough to visit it whenever I need or want to.
I started making these rock cairns because I love what they represent and symbolize…they have been known to be used as markers, memorials and burial monuments. Spiritually they are often used as a token of gratitude, each rock an intention, prayer or offering. They always give me a sense peace, calm and grounding anytime I see them in the wild.
Made in my 5R design style of repurposed, reclaimed, recycled, redeemed and reloved. I take old, broken, discarded jewelry, scraps from my work, silverware etc and I melt it all down, roll it out and a new, organic pieces are able to made and loved.
Three lovely stones of Bamboo Mountain Turquoise and two handmade sterling silver rocks make up this chunky stack. It’s weighty (nearly 27 grams), unique and substantial….and amazing!
It measures 1 3/8” wide, over 2 1/4” tall, including the bail and is finished with the reminder hand stamped on the back, a rich patina, sweet polish and generously adjustable length of complimenting black leather.
***The reclaiming process takes longer but you’ll feel the difference in your pieces….they have a little more soul.
