I am one of those people who truly appreciate tangible reminders and touchstones, and intentional jewelry, like this piece, does it for me.
I was pushing these stones around on my bench, laying out designs and none of them worked. I set them aside, walked away and when I came back I saw it. I had been trying so hard to create something ‘others’ would like that I missed my own point. I do this craft first for me, the bonus part is that you love it and make it yours. Sometimes the line between business and art blurs and I lose my way for a moment….until I am directed back.
These 5 turquoise stones have a home in fine and sterling silver, forming a cross and absolutely beautiful pendant.
It measures just over 1 1/2” wide, is 2 5/8” tall, including the bail. I did not include a chain but do have some really nice ones listed in the shop. Bail was made to accommodate a 3mm chain or your preferred leather option.
