The Guardian Bolo
The guardian…
There is something about this shield shaped stone that gives me feelings of protection, being watched over and guarded.
The Turquoise is from the Number 8 mine, long since closed and rock from there is harder and harder to come by…especially in this quality…and cut so beautifully. I have had this stone since September 2018, so please know you are getting something pretty dang cool….and mighty special.
The stone has a home in fine and sterling silver, highlighted by a sunburst of silver below it and finished with a rich patina and soft polish.
The braided brown leather bolo cord is partnered with some sterling silver tips, hand stamped and finished with more of that silver sunbursts.
The focal piece measures 1” wide, is 1 1/2” tall and can be adjusted on the leather to preferred style. The cord measures 38”, including the tips.
