Take Me To The Mountains Bolo
Take me to the mountains…
I have been hoarding this stone for a very long time…and I don’t have anything else like it, so it’s very special.
Have you heard of Bristlecone Pine trees? One of them is considered to be the oldest living thing on earth. Methuselah, a Great Basin bristlecone pine in the Inyo National Forest is estimated to be around 4,853 years old. These trees in general have a incredible life spans, and thrive in harsh environments. They are seem as a symbols of resilience, perseverance and the passage of time.
This mountain shaped piece is inlayed with Turquoise and has a home in fine and sterling silver. The handmade sterling silver bolo tips have hand stamped details for the mountain lover.
The setting measures 1 3/4” wide, is 1” tall and finished with a rich patina and soft polish.
Total length of the bolo is 42”, including the 1 1/2” tips. The mountain is adjustable along the braided black leather bolo cord to your preferred style.
